New Year’s Day is celebrated on January 1 st. It’s a celebrated all over the country. On this day people don’t have a specific way to dress or a specific food to eat. This is because all people celebrate differently. For example some people go out to huge parties, others stay at home, and some people celebrate with there family. A place where everybody wants to be on New Years Eve is New York in Times Square. A million lights of different colors and fireworks cover the sky. On 1997 the city government of New York decided to go on with the festivities of Times Square New York and made an activity that is called “dropping of the ball”.
