NORWAY - ST. STEPHEN'S DAY

In Norway they celebrate St Stephen’s Day. It is a Christian holiday celebrated on the 26th of December in the Western Church and the 27th of December in the Eastern Church. This holiday is to remember the first man who became a martyr for his religion. The holiday of St.Stephens Day is also called Boxing Day.

Norway borders Sweden and the Norwegian Ocean .The original language is Bokmal Norwegian. May to September are the hottest months. The season of spring would be an awesome time to visit Sweden because it’s the time when the trees are full of beautiful flowers. In southern Norway is located the capital of Oslo which is an amazing place often full of visitors. Oslo is one of the most populated places in Norway. Even though the city of Oslo is so often visited, the natural beauty has not been destroyed. Some of the things Norway has to offer are beautiful places like: museums (the art and culture of the city), theaters , skiing areas, the oil industries, the awesome glacial landscapes, the cathedral and the Reros is another one of the famous places to visit in Norway, it has been declared a world heritage site by the UNESCO.
