Independence Day in Cuba

 

 

The Cubans celebrate a holiday on October 10 called: Independence Day . The Cuban war for independence was in 1895-98. The Cubans fought a war against Spain to become an independent country as it is today. The Cubans don't have any special dishes that they prepared for Independence day. No special clothes are needed to celebrate this day.

Cuba is an island between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, 150 km south of Key West, Florida. Cubans speak Spanish. Cuba is not one of the United Nation allies. Cuba Environment is rather hot and calm sometimes they get a little tropical weather...Hurricanes.
