Boxing Day is the day after Christmas, December 26th. Australia and some other countries celebrate this day.It is named "Boxing Day" because people gets gifts in boxes. Families go out on vacation or go with other families to play outdoor games. Because Australia is different hemisphere, when it is winter here, it is summer in down there. So the weather will be hot, hot enough for outdoor games.

Boxing Day started in Great Britain then later it begun to spread some other countries like Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. When it was only in Britain, servants will bring boxes to their masters; their masters will drop coins in it. As soon they are done, all of coins become servants’ money. Today, before or on Christmas they give their gifts in boxes to each other. But after Christmas, Boxing Day is special to working class people. Nearly everybody give these people gifts, money, or toys for little kids on Boxing Day.

When you get to Australia, you will find yourself standing on a place full of vegetation which covers up Australia by around 91 percent. Australia also well known to have 16 properties on World Heritage List, Great Barrier Reef is one of them. There's many more on the list. You will be busy there as soon you arrive there. Australia is also one of other countries with great populations near coasts. It had 80 percent of the populations by 100 km from the coast.
