ARGENTINA - MALVINAS DAY

Argentina is a very nice place to visit. If you go you will never forget the nice things it has. It has one of the best soccer teams in the world. It has a total population of 36 million people. Argentina is in the south part of South America. It covers a total land area of 2.8 square miles. Argentina’s president is a woman named Cristiana Fernandez de Kirchner. It is one of the few countries that has a woman as their president. In Argentina 93% of the people are Catholic, and a 95% are white people. |

The holiday I choose is celebrated on April 2 nd . The holiday is in honor of the soldiers who died in a war called Guerra de las Malvinas. The holiday is supposed to be a very sad day because on that day a lot of people died. To celebrate the people of Argentina perform dramatizations of the war and have parties. During the parties they eat things like empanadas, dulce de leche, galleta suiza, coffee and croissant . In my personal opinion with what I have researched, I think Argentina is a MARVELOUS country!!!!! |
